Michele Reeves
Michele Reeves is Oklahoma's own redneck juror. She slept during Raye Dawn's trial wrapped up in a NASCAR blanket, bragged to the other jurors about drinking with her underage daughter, looked on Kelsey's paternal family's website full of hate during the trial, smoked with the Briggs family, allegedly has a charge of child abuse against her for whipping a child with a hanger, and was applauded when she joined the paternal family's site and asked for Raye Dawn to be beaten in prison. What's sad is she wasn't the worst on that panel of Raye Dawn's "peers."
Michele Reeves - joined Kelsey's purpose the last day of Raye Dawn's trial, or so they say. In an interview she stated she thinks Raye Dawn left Kelsey for Mike to find. This was speculated on the Briggs' forum, but no evidence or discussion of this was ever given during the trial. Michelle also said she hopes Raye Dawn is beaten in prison and was applauded on Kelsey's Purpose for convicting Raye Dawn. Notice below that this was post number two. Post number one was deleted immediately. Makes you wonder when it was posted or what it said...

As one of the jurors in this heart felt trial, I have let my
thoughts be known to many people . I have told Kathie that I
believed Raye Dawn Murdered Baby Kelsey , and also I was one
of few who wanted to give Raye Dawn a LIFE SENTENCE !!!!!!!
I BELIEVE SHE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A DEATH SENTENCE.
I TRULY HOPE THAT SHE GETS SOME BEATENS JUST LIKE THE
ONES SHE GAVE . I WILL NEVER FEEL THE PAIN THAT THE BRIGGS
FAMILY HAS FELT, BUT I HOPE IN THE NEXT 27 YEARS IT GETS
BETTER . GOD BLESS THE BRIGGS FAMILY... SEE YOU ALL AUG 23

Some of the jurors in Raye Dawn Smith's case did their duty to the best of their ability and decided, based on the evidence presented at Raye Dawn Smith' trial that she "should have known" Kelsey Smith-Briggs, Kelsey Briggs was being abused by Michael (Mike) Porter and they wanted to sentence Raye Dawn Smith to the shortest possible sentence - one year.
Biased jurors who visited and JOINED the Kelsey's Purpose website, ran by Kathie Briggs, Kelsey Smith-Briggs, Kelsey Briggs paternal grandmother, insisted on the maximum sentence for Raye Dawn Smith - life.
What I don't understand is how a juror who followed the rules could be persuaded to jump from a one year sentence to a twenty-seven year sentence in the span of approximately an hour and a half.
One juror who JOINED Kelsey's Purpose and has supported and spoken on behalf of the paternal Briggs family, Michele Reeves, held up Kelsey Smith-Briggs's, Kelsey Briggs autopsy photos while the jurors deliberated and screamed "this is a life sentence" causing the jurors to make an emotional decision, not one based on fact or evidence.
The autopsy photos were misleading and should have never been allowed in Raye Dawn Smith's trial because as the Physician's Assistant testified - from Raye Dawn Smith's appeal: "No physician was on staff at the Prague Hospital: therefore, ****** Gibson, a physician's assistant, was in charge. Ms. Gibson estimated that Kelsey [Smith-Briggs, Kelsey Briggs] had been down for about 45 minutes when she arrived at Prague at 3:59 p.m. They continued to "Code" Kelsey for another 45 minutes before they called time of death. Ms. Gibson called her time of death at 4:45 p.m. Raye Dawn [Smith] requested that an autopsy be performed because she wanted to know what happened to her daughter. [Mike] Porter, on the other hand, objected to an autopsy being performed. Ms. Gibson testified that Kelsey had two small bruises on her face and one on her shin, which wasn't anything out of the ordinary. She testified that she did not notice any unusual bruising on Kelsey [Smith-Briggs, Kelsey Briggs], and that she examined Kelsey's entire body and turned her over to look at her back. In fact, the first evidence of trauma is post-mortem. The autopsy photographs were misleading because they show post-mortem lividity and trauma caused by medical manipulation, which to a lay person appears to be evidence of intentional trauma or abuse."
