Raye Dawn has filed NO lawsuits and wanted NO part in any suits. She does not want money from Kelsey's death and does not want anyone else using Kelsey's death to make money. This is a lie!

Raye did try to intervene in the proceeds of Lance's lawsuit settlement against the state. The original lawsuit was for $15 million but he SETTLED for $625,000 with his attorneys taking 40%. Raye was devastated to find out that Lance "put a price tag on his daughter." She didn't want the money to go "up Lance's nose or up his arm." She wanted it donated to charitable organizations such as the infant crisis center in Oklahoma that is struggling without proper funding and to St. Jude's. These are two charities that are dear to Raye Dawn's heart, and she wanted to honor her daughter.

What is Lance doing with the money? A witness saw him tip a stripper $500 at a strip club within days of collecting his funds. He's reportedly also building his mom a new home, bought himself a king size bed, is buying himself a nice truck, bought ten acres of land, and is looking at plans to build his own home. There have been no reports so far of Oklahoma child abuse agencies receiving any funds. In fact, the Briggs cut their ties with Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma, a respected organization, reportedly, so they could run their own organization and collect salaries as members of the board.
